In 2026 he was named an Emerging Canadian Food Leader at the Good Food Innovation Awards, presented by Food Day Canada in partnership with the Arrell Food Institute at the University of Guelph, recognizing his role in shaping a more sustainable and connected future for Canadian food.

His record speaks for itself. Imrun became the first Canadian to win the North American qualifier at the World Tapas Competition, a global stage for the best in the craft. He competed on Food Network's Top Chef Canada and Chopped Canada, and he earned a coveted stage in the kitchen at Copenhagen's Noma, widely regarded as one of the most influential restaurants in the world.
